Who we are
Alphabet Childcare delivers high quality care and education to children ages 1 to 6. We are located in Southampton, PA, in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Our mission is to provide nurturing while educational care
in a close-knit, caring community of children, parents and teachers. We strive to give children the tools and the desire to create their own learning. As families facilitate their children’s growth, we are there to support them and provide resources. The teaching staff is carefully selected to meet the high standards of our center. We take great pride in staff longevity and continuing to provide excellent care to our children for over 20 years.
Curriculum
Alphabet Childcare supports many different approaches to learning. We use multi-sensory instruction, develop creativity, independence, responsibility, self-confidence and care for others. Our curriculum develops a child’s lifelong love for learning and improves critical thinking skills. Through hands-on exploration and learning, children develop a passion for learning. Our curriculum is research-based and supports the development of the whole child.
Nutrition
Alphabet Childcare provides organic, well balanced, nutritious meals and snacks to all. We ensure that our menus meet the nutrition standards of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. In addition to serving your child
wholesome food, we teach them to develop healthy eating habits. All of our meals are professionally cooked on premise daily.
Health and Safety
The health and safety of our children and families is always our highest priority. To mitigate the risks of COVID-19 while children are in our care, we have adopted additional health and safety measures based on
CDC guidelines, state and local regulations, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Staff members wear facial coverings while caring for children. We screen temperatures of staff and children. Staff members are the only adults permitted to enter the building. Pick up and drop off take place outside the childcare space. We continue our focus on handwashing and disinfecting throughout the day. Please contact administration if you

Inclement Weather
The daycare facility is closed in the event of extreme weather conditions such as snow/sleet/ice, or extreme heat index.. We will post weather updates on our Facebook page, and well as send parents emails with dismissal or closures updates.
